Postpartum and Lactating Spays: Cats
Postpartum and lactating cat spays have their own nuances, rules, and challenges. The presence of a milk supply affects your incision placement, and the uterus is friable which means that tissue handling needs to be adjusted. This course address each of these aspects and fully prepares the student to successfully spay a postpartum and/or lactating cat with a midline incision, without disturbing the milk supply.
*This is a masterclass that assumes that fundamental cat spay courses have already been completed*
